LEGO® builders! We know you love the bricks just as much as we do! Here’s your chance to learn some basic engineering concepts that many adults have yet to master!
Using LEGO® Education’s brand new Simple Machines set, we’ll learn the mechanical engineering concepts behind levers, gears, pulleys and more. Each week, we’ll build a new project incorporating one of these. Get ready for a wild amusement park ride, a go-cart and of course … a catapult! This is a great way to master the building skills that will serve your young engineers well in our LEGO® Robotics and LEGO® Robo Challenge classes for older kids.
After learning the engineering concepts and building the machines, we encourage our students to improvise on their designs, just like we do in our robotics classes!
Tired of having no clue what your kids do in all those clubs? Adventures with Robots is different! A day or two after every class, your engineering instructor will email a note explaining what your young engineer learned in the previous session and what’s next. Sometimes we even include photos and videos!
We provide one instructor and one parent aide for 12 students.
Areas of exploration: engineering, simple machines, physics.
The Great Adventure Lab, formerly known as Adventures with Robots. Same company. Same management. New name to fit our growing curriculum!
